"Hard to find a restaurant open on an early weekday evening but this one, on the square by the very grand Mairie was welcome and much better than a stop gap. A good choice of beers to start with and then local oysters for two of us from one of the set menus (less than 20€) with a good Sauvignon and then two excellent burgers made with proper steak haché, frites and salad with a good bottle of Medoc and Île flottant and pistachio/caramel ice cream to follow. Our spouses had an excellent terrine to start, then gammon cooked in cider and creme caramels to follow. With 4 black coffees and drinks we paid 30€ a head. Unpretentious food but high quality, well cooked and full of flavour. Service friendly and attentive. We will return."
